Independent Kings Regiment Association have the following events forthcoming

Saturday
8th September - Somme Dinner Night.
This Dinner night is to remember
our soldiers who fought at the Battle of the Somme in 1916.
This will be the first dinner night held by I.K.R.A. so we hope to
make it a good one. There will be a Parade of the
Standards, Artist, Disco, & Raffle.
Tickets are priced at £18.00.
Menu in brief, Starter
- Soup of the day, Main
-Roast Beef , Chicken
or Vegetarian.
Sweet/ Apple Pie or
Ice cream. Tea coffee,
Cheese board. Wine also on each table.
For tickets, send the name who the ticket is for,
what meal they wish to have, ie beef, chicken, vegetarian,
and your address and cheque
made payable to I.K.R.A.

22nd September - Visit to the National Memorial Arboretum
IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE NORTHERN IRELAND VETERAN'S ASSOCIATION
THE
INDEPENDENT KING'S REGIMENT ASSOCIATION WILL VISIT
THE NATIONAL MEMORIAL ARBORETUM IN STAFFORDSHIRE.
THIS IS A 150 ACRE SITE OF MEMORIALS AND TREES PLANTED AS A LASTING AND
LIVING TRIBUTE TO THE GENERATIONS WHO HAVE SERVED THEIR COUNTRY.
A SERVICE TO OUR FALLEN WILL BE HELD AT APPROX 1130AM AT THE CHAPEL ON THE
ARBORETUM SITE. WE WILL THEN PARADE TO THE ULSTER
ASH GROVE FOR A SMALL
SERVICE, LAYING OF WREATHS,
AND LAST POST.
FAMILIES OF OUR FALLEN COMRADES WILL BE ATTENDING THIS TRIP.
THE "IMPERIAL CORPS OF DRUMS" WILL ALSO BE ATTENDING.
