Just a day after they returned from Basra, Craig's lads have already started to visit. Topz and Finch, both of Craig's Recce Platoon, arrived back in good shape Friday and wasted no time in tracking "Freddie" down to see how he is doing. Both of the guys were with Craig in the roof-top battle which resulted in his injuries and it was Topz in particular who, under relentless fire, carried Craig off the roof to medical aid. A few hours was spent catching up with each other before "the 3 Amigo's" headed for the Pub. Even earlier, on the Friday afteroon, Craig was reunited with his good pal Ban who sought him out as soon as he arrived home. And on Thursday he was delighted when his name-sake mate Craig, who had travelled back ahead of the main party turned up for an afternoon of catching up in the Pub. It's been a busy few days for "Freddie" but knowing that most of his boys are back has been a real lift for him, although tinged with great sadness without Smudge and Jonesey.
